One styling consideration: the horizontal stripes are most flattering on slimmer builds or those with a modest midsection. If you're carrying more weight in the middle, the lines might not work as favorably. That said, the sweater itself is beautifully made and the cream color is versatile. Highly recommended if the cut suits your build.

I'll admit I was skeptical about the plush "horse hair" style knit at first, but it really works. The texture adds character without feeling gimmicky, and this turned out to be one of the warmest vintage sweaters in my collection. Fits as described and the striped pattern looks great. If you're on the fence about the fabric style, don't be—it's well-executed. Highly recommend for cooler weather.
